ORGAN TRIO (Menconi, Gurrisi, Minetto)
NEW ALBUM:
"The Space Between"
Alessio Menconi -guitar Alberto Gurrisi – organ Alexander Minetto - drums
A band that harks back to the legacy of greats like Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and Kenny Burrell, but develops its own creative voice, free from cliché.
The new album “The Space Between” explores a sonic universe made of original songs, reinterpreted standards and carefully chosen compositions, such as Minuano by Pat Metheny and a delicate ballad by Stevie Wonder. Each piece is rewritten with freedom, breadth, and attention to detail, in a continuous dialogue between the musicians.
In 15 years of activity, the trio has recorded three CDs and performed in numerous international concerts, winning over audiences and critics with their lively, intense and uncompromising music.
